According to L.A. Times, they have listed some “intriguing movie storylines” to look forward on 2011, the Twilight Trio made their cut:
The “Twilight” crowd, the morning after: They’ve branched out into other roles before. But 2011 will bring moments of truth for all three lead actors in the “Twilight” franchise: Robert Pattinson in the period circus drama “Water for Elephants” (coming in April), Taylor Lautner in the teen fugitive thriller “Abduction” (coming in September) and Kristen Stewart in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road” (date TBD). The last two movies in the franchise that made them famous are shooting now. Which of the trio can fashion the most productive post-Forks career?

After spending a guys’ night out in L.A. last Friday, Robert Pattinson packed up and hit the road with a few of his pals, stopping first in Arizona on Saturday night and continuing on to New Mexico..
There was a bearded sighting of Rob in Santa Fe, where he told a restaurant patron he was road tripping with some guy friends.
Now where to, exactly?
We can’t help but think he’s heading out to see Kristen Stewart, who’s filming On the Road in New Orleans.
Rob was spotted having dinner with a few friends at Galisteo Bistro Sunday night in New Mexico. There were a couple of excited fan tweets, and another girl who worked at the restaurant posted on her Facebook page how Rob was “very polite, quiet, undouchey and knows his wine.”
Yup, that sounds like the R.Pattz we know and love! And apparently Rob is still truckin’ on east…
Scruffy Pattinson, dressed in dark jeans, a dark gray tee, a white over shirt and baseball cap, was spotted out at a bar Monday night in Lubbock, Texas, where he took some pics with some very excited girls.
Rob and his boys were at Crickets Draft Bar and it eventually became so overflowed with fans, police came to escort him out the back alley where more girls were outside—some even in their pajamas they were so excited just to catch a glimpse of R.P.
Still, we’re told by patrons inside the bar Rob was “very, very nice” to people who approached him. One guy in the road trip crew sang karaoke while Rob was bopping in his seat to Michael Jackson‘s “PYT.”
Speaking of pretty young thing’s, we’re convinced R.Pattz is on his way to visit Stewart.
Stewart is scheduled to be filming in New Orleans until early next week, so if Rob is heading that way, why wouldn’t he pay his gal a visit? He has been on such good behavior here in L.A.; he should be rewarded and get to see his babe and BFF.
Rob left Lubbock yesterday morning (some people claim to have seen him at an IHOP and at a Jiffy Lube) to get back on the road. We’ll keep ya posted on where he goes after he’s safely fled the area.

Earlier this week, photos emerged ofKristen Stewarthanging out withRobert Pattinson’s close pal Tom Sturridge in Montreal, where she’s filming On The Road. The shots sparked speculation that Sturridge might also be in the Jack Kerouac adaptation.
Gossip Cop can confirm exclusively that Sturridge has indeed been cast in the movie.
“He is filming in Canada at the moment for On The Road,” a rep for the actor tells us.
As Gossip Cop reported back in May, Stewartwill star in the film alongside Garrett Hedlundand Sam Riley.

‘On the road’ moves to gatineau

The film, currently filming in Montreal, is featuring Viggo Mortensen (The Lord of the Rings, The Road), Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Amy Adams (Enchanted, Julie & Julia) and Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man). British Sam Riley(Law & Order “) which embodies the alter egos of Kerouac, Sal Paradise, while Garrett Hedlund (Four Brothers, Tron Legacy) lent his features to his traveling companion Neal Cassady and mentor, also known as Dean Moriarty.
Around a hundred actors – including some of main cast – and technicians will be visiting for three days and three nights in the region for the purpose of the feature film directed by Brazilian Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries). Some streets of Old Hull will be blocked to facilitate filming in the area. Between 20 and 30 local people will also be hired to complete the crew.
Largely autobiographical, written from a single jet in three weeks in a spontaneous prose in April 1951 – we discovered that Kerouac had written a draft in French, his native language, beforehand – and published in 1957, On The Road is considered an iconic novel of the “Beat Generation”. The work reports of wandering and the initial quest for a new lifestyle Kerouac on American roads, he has crisscrossed New York to San Francisco to Chicago and Louisiana, along with Cassady.
In front of Salles camera, Viggo Mortensen will be playing Old Bull Lee (William S. Burroughs who is), Amy Adams, Jane, Old Bull Lee’s wife, Kristen Stewart, Mary Lou (LuAnne Henderson, Cassady’s first wife) and Kirsten Dunst, Camille (Carolyn, the mistress and then Cassady’s second wife).
Francis Ford Coppola, who bought the rights to adapt the novel about 30 years ago, is co-producing On The Road. The movie, a coproduction between France, Quebec, England and Brazil, has a budget of $ 25 million. After Quebec, filming will continue in the United States and Mexico.
Kristen Stewart And Garrett Hedlund Prepare For ‘On The Road’

Action film actor, Garrett Hedlund, talked to MTV about his upcoming Disney sequel to Tron: Legacy and, his future cast mate, Kristen Stewart, for 2011′s On The Road. For years there have been rumors about who and if Jack Kerouac’s beloved book, On The Road, would be made into film. Supposedly, Hedlund and Stewart have been signed on for the project since 2007!
Hedlund had nothing but nice things to say about Stewart, commenting, “She’s got it all there. She’s where she needs to be and further. She’s fantastic.” Hedlund’s kind comments are a far cry from previous co-star, Adam Brody’s, comments on Stewart’s attitude. The pair along with co-stars, Sam Riley and Kirsten Dunst, are in “beatnik bootcamp” for four weeks in Montreal to prepare for filming next month.
Yesterday, Hedlund and co-star Olivia Wilde, were promoting their sure-to-be box office gold, Tron: Legacy, at Comic-Con in San Diego. Every time I see a new photo from Comic-Con I get a bit more jealous that I am not in attendance.
