The ceremony took place at the Disney Concert Hall, and Dakota’s family, including her little sister Elle, were on hand to offer congratulations. Dakota came to the end of her four years at one of the city’s most prestigious private academies, and now she’s bound for college. She was spotted checking out East Coast universities like NYU two Summers ago, though she has yet to announce which one is her destination this Fall.

The New York Observer is saying that Dakota Fanning, of The Runaways and the Twilight series, has been accepted to NYU’s Gallatin. Still there is no confirmation from Dakota’s reps, but if this true then Congrats to her!!
Gallatin, whose students design their own academic programs, is a time-honored spot for celebrities.

Michael Hoffman has enticed Dakota Fanning to star in his romantic fairytale Girls’ Night Out, from a script by Trevor De Silva
Dakota will play teenage Princess Margaret, the current Queen’s sister, who is allowed out from Buckingham Palace for one night to join in the celebrations. Alongside her yet-to-be-cast sister Elizabeth, the two have an adventurous night on the town.

Twilight stars Ashley Greene, Dakota Fanning and Kellan Lutz got dropped off at LAX today to catch a flight to Lousiana. They were heading back to work on Breaking Dawn after taking a holiday break to spend time with their friends and families. Peter Facinelli took his wife and kids to Disneyland, though Ashley stayed focused on work to promote the release of Eclipse on DVD before spending the last few days of 2010 traveling with boyfriend Joe Jonas. Kellan Lutz rang in the new year from Las Vegas with Jay-Z, Coldplay, John Mayer, Beyonce Knowles, and more, while Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spent their second New Year’s Eve together on the Isle of Wright in England.
We also know that Cameron Bright , Jamie Campbell Bower and Erik Odom also were heading back to Baton Rouge, because they tweeted about it!

’The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ (June 30) – Twi-hards continued to line up in droves, beginning with midnight screenings, to drink in the third chapter of the Stephenie Meyer vamps vs. werewolves saga this summer. The world got plenty of shirtless shots of Taylor Lautner, not to mention the big-screen ‘Twilight’ parody ‘Vampires Suck.’
