E Battle of the Twilight Bands, is a contest hosted by Edward’s Meadow, where Twilight inspired bands and songwriters compete to see who has written the best Twilight related song! Their first Battle of the Twilight Bands last year was a huge success, and they are excited to do it again, but this time we’re spicing up the competition! You are wondering why are we posting this right?? Weeeell, We have our very own Twilight Band here in Puerto Rico, which has entered this contest. Their name is “Anything But Twilight”. Some of you might remember them from our Twilight DVD Release Party in Borders (Plaza Escorial, Carolina, Puerto Rico), in which they debuted their song “Just Bite Me“. They also had the privilege and permission of The Mitch Hansen Band, to let them sign some of their songs. Mitch even said, that he liked their interpretation of his song. ”Anything But Twilight” is composed of two talented girls from Ponce, Yaletza and Dorimar. They will be performing this song and others on OUR upcoming EVENT in Ponce on November 8, 2009; in where we will have a Concert/Meet Up reunion. Details of this event will be posted later.
