Twilight Examiner

For a while following last month’s announcement that Spiderman 4, Tobey MacGuire, and the rest of the cast were all out (and that a Spiderman reboot would be made in 2012), a couple of casting rumors circled around in the rumor mill, and two of them included The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. 

Of course, Pattinson and Lautner have a lot else going on now and in the near future. Lautner’s Valentine’s Day releases this weekend, and he’s signed on for quite a few future projects, including Cancun, Max Steel, Northern Lights, and, most recently, Stretch Armstrong. Pattinson’s Remember Me releases about a month from now, and he’s only just begun filming Bel Ami. He is also in talks to appear in Water For Elephants with Sean Penn and Reese Witherspoon.

In either case, a decent parody was made of the situation, with both Lautner and Pattinson mock-auditioning for the part.

The video plays upon Pattinson’s recently acquired Bel Ami beard, and, of course, Lautner’s muscles, and it also includes Christian Bale, Eddie Murphy, and Zac Efron.
