Last week, rumors began to spread online claiming that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewartwould attend this Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.

The duo appeared with Eclipse buddy Taylor Lautner back in June at the network’s Movie Awards.

But there will be no sequel this weekend.

Pattinson insiders inform Gossip Cop that he willnot be at the VMAs, while a source close to Stewart tells us the actress “is shooting” and also unable to attend.

There should still be no shortage of drama, however, especially with the much-hyped return of Kanye West.
