Robsten going back to the Closet?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be finding time to hang together (and then some) up in Vancouver, but that sure doesn’t mean it comes easily.

While roaming up in the Couv over the weekend, we hit some of the spots Robsten & the Twilight Crew have been known to frequent during their various time up north, and even the locals have noticed a big change since the New Moon filming last March.

“[Eclipse filming] has been great for us,” dishes a local witness to the R.Pattz phenomenon. “Tourism has basically skyrocketed since these kids have been up here. As a resident and restaurant manager, I’ve noticed this city has gotten a lot busier.”

Sheesh, maybe Summit needs to start filming in America—the Pattinson Effect could help out our economy.

But back to business: You know what more people means? Less Robsten.

“We’ve seen a lot less of Kristen and Rob,” says our local Twilight-accommodating spy. “Some of the cast still comes here a lot, but anytime [Kristen and Rob] are involved, it brings a lot more attention to the whole cast and whatever they are doing.”

It’s no wonder why Summit has become much more laid-back.

“It’s basically [Rob and Kristen's] choice if they want to go out,” Deep Twi tells us. “And they know they are being watched—whether it’s by curious fans or paparazzi—everywhere they go.”

You know what else is Rob and Kristen’s choice? Whatever personal info they feel like giving away in interviews. So for those of you hoping for that Harpers Bazaar dating confirmation? Sorry, folks—but from what we hear from Summit sources, no such thing went down.

Maybe we should all back off a bit and let Rob and Kristen do their thing? Oh, who are we kidding, they already are, but we’ll work on giving them some privacy.

Insiders and cast members dish on favorite restaurants, late night visitors and scaring little kids. Check it out:

On their favorite eatery: “The cast has gone there four times over the past two or three weeks. But the majority of the time they’re staying in and ordering takeout. They’ve had pizza and Chinese delivered on numerous occasions,” an insider dished.

On Kellan Lutz’s mid-summer visitor: AnnaLynne McCord, paid him a two-day visit back in August. “AnnaLynne really missed him. She just loves his whole bad-boy persona,” the insider shared.

On the mobs of fans waiting to see their favorite stars: “It’s like Beatlemania,” cameo star Jack Huston said. “These kids have 100 people waiting outside their hotels. It’s crazy.”

On new cast members fitting in: Kellan shared, “The new guys are so cool. “I’ve never worked on a project where everyone is so harmonious and down-to-earth.”

On Peter Facinelli scaring his own kids when in character: “They think it’s creepy,” Peter’s wife, Jennie Garth says. “It just isn’t Daddy. But they all have T-shirts with Dr. Carlisle’s face on them. They wear them all the time — they’re very proud.”

SM Biography: appeals to multgenerations!

Searing through the internet is the announcement of a biography told through an uncommon venue- a comic book bearing the famous face of a woman whose gentle smile is now recognized worldwide.
 

Though comic books are generally targeted to a younger audience, this comic book is thoughtfully designed to capture the eyes and hearts of both teens and their parents.
 

While Twilighters are thrilled to see the heroine who transcends the Twilight Saga captured in any fashion, my recent interview with the writer and artist of the Female Force: Stephenie Meyer comic book reveals a purpose-driven biography narrated by Dracula, one of history’s most well-renowned vampires.
 

Writer Ryan Burton and artist David MacNeil teamed up to create a book about Stephenie Meyer, the queen of Twilight, due out just in time to ride the wave of hype before New Moon debuts November 20.
 

Ryan’s wife was excited when she discovered her husband’s next project through BlueWater Productions. “I give her a hard time; apparently it’s extremely popular,” says Ryan. “I haven’t read the series yet. I’ve only watched the movie and have heard of what’s happened. My wife is my main source of Twilight information.”

Peter Tweets about the Volturi?

It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old … friends are meeting up in the woods?

That’s the case, according to a recent tweet by Peter Facinelli, of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse‘s set in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Said he, “Meanwhile back on the set of Eclipse… It’s raining again. Today, meeting up with some old friends in the woods.”

Inquiring minds will wonder … what does this mean?

Well, as you might have guessed, it could have something to do with the Volturi.

In Eclipse, after the big fight scene showdown between the Cullens (flanked by the wolfpack) and Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard) and her newborn army, some of the Volturi (particularly Jane (Dakota Fanning) and Alec (Cameron Bright)) arrive to see what’s going on. Of course, they come across Bree and had to have her discarded. Then, they have a back and forth with the Cullens to determine if and when Bella (Kristen Stewart) was going to be fulfilling her New Moon promise to be turned.

Two days ago, Facinelli’s Volturi co-star Bright sent a message to his The Twilight Saga: New Moon co-star Michael Sheen (who portrays Aro in the series), and said “Miss you on set.”

On the other hand, Jodelle Ferland (who plays Bree) tweeted about being on the set about two weeks ago. Of course, there is a possibility that she has been written into more than one sequence or that the Volturi’s scenes that involve her could be shot separately. Anyway, she tweeted once again about going to the infamous cast dinner with her Eclipse co-stars just three days ago as well.

As already discussed, Carlisle has history with the Volturi stemming back centuries.

So, could Facinelli’s “old friends” be the Volturi? Very possible

Selena Gomez: Team Jacob

Selena Gomez insists it’s not easy for her to choose between Team Jacob and Team Edward.

“That’s hard,” she said last night at the Onitsuka Tiger party for her debut album, Kiss & Tell. “I don’t know. I guess it would be Team Jacob because [Taylor Lautner] is my friend, but I do like Team Edward.”

In other boy news, Selena told us…

Shia LaBeouf is still at the top of the Wizards of Waverly Place starlet’s list of crushes.

“He’ll always have a special place reserved,” cooed Selena, 17.

As for her professional wish list, Selena said she wants to “mix it up” with Jason Mraz.

“I love him,” she said of the “I’m Yours” hitmaker. “I think he’s so talented lyrically and musically.”

Setting the record straight on Rob’s Roles

There has been enormous speculation over the past two days about which films Robert Pattinson will do and which he will not.

In a series of threads on IMDB, for example, fans wondered whether it was true that Pattinson had been recast or dropped out of the film “Bel Ami,” in which he plays an immoral man named George Duroy, based on the short story by Guy de Maupassant. While many thought that he was recast/bowed out because of scheduling issues, Gossip Cop can confirm that Pattinson is still slated to make that movie.

But what about Pattinson re-making “Dune,” a rumor which set Twitter atwitter? While it’s true that Peter Berg remains intent on doing a re-make of the 1984 film that starred Kyle MacLachlan, Robert Pattinson will NOT be in the film, a source close to the actor tells Gossip Cop.

So it’s one in and one out for Pattinson.
