A couple of weeks ago, a rumor popped up online that Lee Pace was in contention for a role as “Garrett” in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, but within a day, that rumor was shot down by Gossip Cop. You can read more on that here if you like, but the point of bringing it up now is that another, very similar issue has just popped up with regard to “Renesmee.”

Celebuzz caught onto a Facebook post that Model Management Group USA & Canada made with this photo of a young actress by the name of Kayla D.

Here’s what the photo caption says: “Attached is a photo of Kayla and Daniel D. … Kayla is the little girl up for the role of Bella’s daughter in the new film in the Twilight Sage: Breaking Dawn. Kayla is pictured with her adorable brother Daniel who has already had two castings since signing with us this month! Daniel will be submitting a video audition for another role in the Twilight film! Good Luck guys!!!!”

In other words, the suggestion is that Kayla is currently in contention for the role of “Renesmee,” not that she has officially been cast for the part.

When the Lee Pace story came around, there was no confirmation or rejection available from the studio, and since this is a similar circumstance, the same is probably true. Also, since the post seems to come from Kayla’s representation, there might not be a statement negating the issue offered up to sources like Gossip Cop (though that remains to be seen).

For now, then, nothing’s official one way or the other. Still, if little Kayla is up for the role of “Renesmee” in one of her various fast-growth stages, what do you think of her for the part?

For a while now, a lot of Twilight fans have been curious about whether some of the human character actors would return to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 or The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 because their involvement in the storyline becomes rather thin in the story of Breaking Dawn.

“Bella” has graduated high school, and she is ready to move on to a new chapter in her life (or perhaps undeath is a more appropriate word); the human characters, “Jessica,” “Mike,” “Angela,” and “Eric” are attendants of the [*spoiler warning*] wedding ceremony, but they don’t come back in after that.

Michael Welch (“Mike Newton”) has confirmed on his Twitter page, though, that he’ll at least be back for Part 1. “It looks like I will be back for Part 1! WooHOOO!! Part 2, I’m not sure yet.”

Assuming the movies follow the story in the books, it may make sense if they weren’t cast inPart 2, but it’s good to hear that he’ll be back for Part 1 at least!

Presumably, the same will be true for Anna Kendrick, Christian Serratos, and Justin Chon, but Welch’s tweet did not confirm whether the other three human character actors would return as well.

Any time a new Twitter page for a castmember from theTwilight series pops up, there’s a whole process hat goes into making sure it’s real. Usually, this involves contacting representation for the castmember or the franchise, and this can take a bit of time.

Anna Kendrick (“Jessica Stanley” in the Twilight Saga) approached her entry into Twitter-dom a bit differently than most: for the photo box on her Twitter page, she posted a photo of herself holding a piece of paper with her Twitter account on it.

In a new interview with Kendrick, she revealed the mindset behind her clever decision.

“That might seem so silly, but I was really proud of myself for thinking of that! I saw a picture once of an actress holding a sign that read, ‘yes, it’s really me’, and I thought that was so clever, but in theory anybody could take that photo and copy it to their site. I don’t come up with many good ideas but that was a killer way to dispel the imposters and all the misinformation on the net.”

It was a great idea, to be sure, and it saved those of us who try to look into such matters a whole bunch of time!

Kendrick went onto talk about Scott Pilgrim Vs. The WorldTwilight, and Up In The Air in the interview, so it’s worth checking out in full here.

A specific date of release for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD has yet to be set (and this is not surprising considering the film is still in theaters in a lot of areas of the U.S.), but chances are, the film will hit DVD and Blu-Ray sometime this fall/winter, and there is a lot to look forward to from that occasion!

According to Magazine Shelf Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s Bazaar Magazine Cover of December what the Highest Selling cover of the year!!! Isn’t this awesome? But it’s no surprise because the Twilight fandom is huge and us as people call us Twi-Hards would do anything to get our hands in Robert and Kristen’s photoshoots!

The fact that production for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is taking place partially in Baton Rouge, Louisiana is making big waves in the community.

A local news source did some poking around to find out details about production plans for the films, and they learned that the scenes being shot in Louisiana will indeed be indoors and that it is being considered very beneficial to the local economy.

“What you’ll see is much like what ‘Steel Magnolias’ did for Natchitoches . . . People go to Natchitoches to this day to see the house in ‘Steel Magnolias,’” reports WBRZ. Given the fact that Twilight fans are famed for traveling to Forks, La Push, Portland, Vancouver, and even to Italy to see the Twilight sights, this is probably at least a little true.

There is a report today thatRobert Pattinson andKristen Stewart have moved out of their purported “love nest.”

Supposedly, the couple stayed there every now and then when their respective filming schedules permitted.

A real estate agent for the property claims Pattinson and Stewart “are no longer renting the home,” according to E! Online, which also cites a source who says, “It wasn’t as private as they hoped.”

And that’s the real story here.

Whether or not Pattinson and Stewart have left the residence, whether or not they stayed there in the first place, it was notthe media’s business to share specifics or photographs.

Gossip Cop made the point last month, when tabloids like Life & Styleand outlets like HollywoodLife stoopedto revealing pictures of the site even while acknowledging the couple’s well-documented desire for privacy.

Kudos to E! Online for admitting that its own (past) contribution to the feeding frenzy was a mistake and declining to divulge any new information it’s learned about Pattinson and Stewart’s private spots.

If only Life & Style, HollywoodLife and similarly invasive outlets would follow that example.

Kristen Stewart's Breaking Dawn Birth Scene Won't Be Toned Down

The good news is, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon plan to be faithful to the book when shooting Bella’s childbirth scene for the movie version of Breaking Dawn.

Or wait, is that bad news?

However Twilight fans might feel about the gruesome scene withKristen Stewart‘s character, the screenwriter and director see little point in toning it down for the big screen. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a huge gorefest.

“We’re working on it. And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book,” screenwriter Rosenberg tells E! Online.

Rosenberg has long felt that the scene shouldn’t be sidelined for the movie. But the priority for her and Condon is the emotional intensity of it.

“I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,” she says. “It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going [on]. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”

Rosenberg and Condon have been working on script rewrites for the twoBreaking Dawn movies of late. Asked when they might finish the scripts, Rosenberg replies: “It better damn well be before the beginning of November, because that’s when we start shooting.”

As gruesome as it may be, Bella’s big birthing scene in Breaking Dawn can’t come soon enough.

But until then, here’s an update on what to expect…

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg tells me she’s been in Baton Rouge with director Bill Condon doing rewrites for the scripts for the two BD movies.

“We’re working on it,” Rosenberg says of baby Renesmee’s less-than-pretty arrival. “And we’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book.”

Yikes. That could be a whole lotta gore.

“I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show,” Rosenberg says. “It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”

What’s Rosenberg’s ETA on the final scripts? “It better damn well be before the beginning of November,” she says, “because that’s when we start shooting.”
